Your privacy is critically important to us. At Picnic Software Pty Ltd (ABN 55 158 332 775) (“Picnic Software”) we have a few fundamental principles:
- We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
- We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
- We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.
- In our products and services, we aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what’s visible to the public, seen by search engines, kept private, and permanently deleted.
If you have questions about deleting or correcting your personal information or any complaints regarding Picnic Software’s collection and/or use of your personal information please contact our Customer Service Team.
Picnic Software operates several software as a service products including picnicsoftware.com and Pic-Me. It is Picnic Software’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any personal information we may collect while operating our services.
Like most website operators, Picnic Software collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request using various technologies such as cookies, internet tags or web beacons and navigational data collection (log files, server logs, clickstream). Picnic Software’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Picnic Software’s visitors use its websites. From time to time, Picnic Software may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its websites.
Picnic Software may collect Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number assigned to your computer by your internet service provider so you can access the Internet and is generally considered to be non-personally identifiable information, because in most cases an IP address is dynamic (changing each time you connect to the internet), rather than static (unique to a particular user’s computer). The IP address can be used to diagnose problems with a server, report aggregate information, determine the fastest route for your computer to use in connecting to a site, and administer and improve the site.
